Beneficiaries of the Carter Cup Charity Football Tournament

One of the main aims of the Carter Cup event is to raise money for charitable causes. All proceeds go to CESSAC and the RAF Akrotiri Station Charities Fund , which will this year share the money between the following:

Royal British Legion (Local Branch)

RAFA (Local branch)

SSAFA (The Soldiers', Sailors' and Air Force Families' Association )

BFBS Big Salute (BLESMA, Combat Stress, Blind Veterans UK (formerly St Dunstan's), Veteran's Aid and F.A.B. (For more info, please see

Christodoulas (Offers care and support to those who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families).

Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (promotes public awareness regarding prevention and early detection of cancer,  educates healthcare professionals in oncology and palliative care, and provides services to improve the quality of life for patients and their families)  

Children's Charity (to be nominated on allocation of funds).

BARC (British Animal Re-Homing Centre

Mutual Support (Armed Forces Multiple Sclerosis Support Group, which is for serving, ex-serving or dependants of serving members of the Armed Forces who have been diagnosed with MS: a very unpredictable illness which can be extremely debilitating

Holiday of a Lifetime. (Providing holidays for under privileged children, often hosted by RAF Akrotiri  

Money is raised from entry fees, sponsors, the raffle and of course from individual donations. If you are able to help our cause in any way including making donations, please let us know.
